Never attempt to walk on the roof of your home when shingles are wet - they are extremely slippery. Severe Weather: After sever storms, a visual inspection of the roof for damages is called for. Notify your homeowner insurance if damage is noted. Leaks: When a leak is noticed, try to detect the exact location; this will greatly simplify locating the area that requires repair when the roof is dry.
